An afternoon on the river

Today's post brought to you by the letter A!

Ah, the start of a new blogging challenge, how fun.

I struggled with my choices for the letter A. We ended up doing a whole lot of "art with toddlers" today, and I could have talked about that. But I've decided to save it for specific projects we work on.

We also have something really special arrive in the mail today, and yes I took pictures. But then, I decided I want to wait for the letter of the thing that actually arrived in the mail (from Japan, in preparation for N.'s 七五三 just to give you a hint...) before I show it to everyone.

Then, in the afternoon we went to visit Nani and Bapa, and I got some lovely pictures there. They live by the river, and the rolling clouds, the ice floating downstream, and N. playing outside were just too tempting to pass up.

So today, not a whole lot related to crafting, but instead just a celebration of lazy afternoons by the water.

Did you notice all the candy on her face? The girl has a big sweet tooth... :)

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Your last shot is just gorgeous!!

七五三 in Chinese means "seven five three"; I'm not sure what it means in Japanese...?
