Vacation, had to get away

I've been away now for a while, visiting family. Where my mom lives, internet connections are very, very slow. But I figured I had to share at least some pictures of the trip so far. 

Can you guess where we are? If you know me fairly well, that's an easy answer. 

I hope everyone's having a wonderful new year so far.

N. and her cousin on a kid sized VW Beetle. They didn't actually drive it, but there was an 8-year old boy driving it before.
This is what a cashew fruit looks like for those who don't know it.  
My 18 month old nephew. He was eating some fruit, that's why his mouth is lopsided.

    These photos are wonderful. That close-up of your nephew is stunning. N looks like she's having so much fun. What a perfect time away with family.

    P.S. I've never seen cashew fruit before. So interesting.

    Vacation huh?! That sounds great, I´ve been wondering where you were. Love these pics and had absolutely NO clue that the cashew fruit looked like that! :-)

    I love this series of photos. Sunny blue skies, palm trees, beach weather... sounds lovely!

    What gorgeous photos, you are such a great photographer! Looks like you all had a fabulous time, oooh the beach looks so relaxing. I love that little VW bug car...my kids would flip over that!! :)

    Did i told you that i had a bench like the one in the last picture? Funny, i found it in a great auction in Germany... was an old park bench in Sumatra.... :-)
